Recipe of the Week
This week challenge yourself to make granola. It’s easier than it sounds and so so delicious!
Ingredients:
3 cups of oats
1/3 cup butter or coconut oil (melted)
1/3 cup honey or maple syrup (melt if cystalized)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 275 F. Mix all ingredients and pour on to a cookie sheet lined with parchment (this is important for pouring later). Every 15 minutes give the granola a little stir in the oven. Let it bake for 1 hour total. Cool for 15 minutes before using the parchment paper as a funnel to pour granola into a storage container. *As it cools, it gets crunchy so if you like chunky granola make sure to make little hills! Store in the fridge to keep the granola nice and crisp.
Enjoy!
Bonus: add raisins, seeds, or cinnamon for some extra flavor!
